DRCC‘s mission is to: Advocate for clean, healthy, equitable environment for people and wildlife. Empower the community around the Duwamish River through programming and community events. Promote place-keeping, ensuring the preservation of cultural identities; Transform the river, community and sense of home and place. Its vision is an empowered Duwamish Valley Community thriving in a healthy and just environment.

FEEST‘s mission is to set the table for young people to transform the health and equity of their community by gathering around food and working towards systems change. 





  The Good Foot Arts Collective

Good Foot Arts Collective‘s mission is to provide youth violence prevention advocacy through arts education. They envision youth of marginalized communities equipped to end violence before it begins, expressive in the arts through transformative movement and artistic mediums, empowered to reach their full potential through mentorship and educated to advocate in their community.

Geeking Out Kids of Color

Geeking Out Kids of Color builds and sustains youth programs that are rooted in community, computer science, and consciousness. Its project-based tech curricula are informed by anti-racism, anti-sexism, multiculturalism, social-emotional learning, and decolonization frameworks. Its programs are geared towards empowering youth with the voice, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills to envision and construct new realities.

Para Los Niños

From birth and beyond, Para Los Niños (For the Children, or PLN) supports and empowers the entire Latino family through early learning, literacy and academic skills development, summer enrichment, and parent leadership and advocacy programs. PLN believes that all Latino children are capable of excellence, and we achieve that goal by building culturally relevant programs upon a foundation of love and respect, supported by a community leadership model that recognizes the talents and skills of each person.

Sawhorse Revolution‘s mission is to foster confident, community-oriented youth through the power of carpentry and craft. The organization is inspired to create equitable change within a framework of feet-on-the-ground education, empowerment, and leadership, in and for our community.

WA-BLOC

WA-BLOC (Washington Building Leaders of Change)'s mission is to build and nurture intergenerational leaders through transformative education and revolutionary social action. WA-BLOC's vision is for south Seattle to be an epicenter where Black and brown folx thrive. We achieve this vision through year-round educational programming that re-engages students in school, dismantles systemic racism, and disrupts the school to prison pipeline for Black and brown youth.
